Ashoka (Saraca indica Linn) is one  extensively used medicinal plants. It is used to treat gynecological disorders like menorrhagia.
Antioxidant, antitumor activity and toxicological evaluation of Saraca indica bark extract are promising and indicate that this herbal preparation may have a potential to be used in complementary and alternative medicine for breast cancer therapy. 
 With great success Ashoka used in strong menstrual bleeding, PMS, menopausal disorders, increasing the cervix and breasts, as well as depressive disorders caused by hormonal disorders.

powder: the stem bark of Saraca asoca
tablets: Saraca asoca bark powder and extract 

powder: for ½ -1 teaspoon three times a day; drink water.
tablets: 1-2 tablets twice a day with warm water before meals
decoction: take 50-100 ml. twice a day

Decoction preparation:
very useful to take a decoction: 3-5 teaspoons of the powder fill one liter of cold water and bring to a boil, boil down to half.
